Another way to procrastinate
I’m in the middle of making a studying playlist consisting of 10 minutes of straight brown noise and then a two minute song. Problem is, most songs under two minutes in my iTunes aren’t songs but either the weird static of TV on the Radio’s Return From Cookie Mountain or banter from the odd live shows I downloaded.

Mr. Clean
Last semester, I had a 3.922 GPA. This semester, I will be lucky to have made a 2.00. I am really screwing the pooch this time around. Largest disappointment? Literary Investigations. Terrible class, getting terrible grades. My only hope? the final exam. Today marks a fantastic day in the life of Jonathan Estuart. I finally finished A Confederacy of Dunces. I’ve been trying to complete it for ages and now it’s done. What a satisfying conclusion though. The sheer intensity and rush in the final 10 pages. Now, onto the arduous task of getting through Frankenstein, Capital, Jimmy Corrigan The Smartest Kid on Eart and Midnights Children.

The first step off the plane was exquisite. The fresh, not humid, air. The soft chill. It made me think twice about not attending school here.
The familiar foods warmed my eyes. The gorgeous weather, the, dare-I-say-it, beautiful people. All California staples.
Bad thing about San Diego? Not much. Honestly, though, I could do without the wrenching loneliness that goes along with the territory.
